End of show

NOTE: Right after the show, Mick Foley hosts TNA Epics. To think people on Impact where wondering where Foley was throughout the show. Thought that was kind of funny.

My Take: Opening contest was very fast and had zero rest holds. A good start in terms of wrestling for the show. The match wasn?t more than five minutes long, but was a decent encounter. Jeremy is very quick and was impressive with how quickly he can go from move to move.

I?m thinking that the Nasty Boys/Team 3-D feud is centering around the Nasty Boys being in Team 3-D?s locker room and being childish. Nasty Boys are coming across as jokes in my opinion and not the feared tag team they were back when they were somewhat feared or entertaining. The storyline just comes across stupid to me and pointless.

Angle/Styles segment was alright for what it was. I do not see Kurt Angle going the whole year without getting a title shot. I would think that he may win just based on the stipulation.

Glad to see Angelina Love back and as a baby face. I can only assume she will be the Knockouts Champion soon.

I don?t care about Sean Morley. I actually haven?t cared about him since I?d say 1999. I really, really hope that Daniels doesn?t end up jobbing to Morley. Daniels is a star waiting to break out and he can?t afford to lose to people that the fans mostly do not care for.

Beer Money Inc vs. Scott Hall/Kevin Nash would have been good.. If Hall and Nash were fifteen years younger. Nash looks like he can hardly move in the ring. I don?t know who would want to pay to see that.

I like the clean win for Desmond Wolfe over Samoa Joe. Now, Wolfe taking on Dinero at Genesis gives that a important feel to it. Looks like TNA is developing some top tier talent in Wolfe and Dinero. I like the sounds of that, for sure.

Nice to see Jarrett cut the promo he was suppose to cut last week, this week. The promo makes a lot of sense and I would hope makes Jarrett a heel. Jarrett, in my opinion is a far better heel than a baby face.

The main event this week was very bland, I thought. I thought it was interesting to reveal Tomko as the attacker this week and already have videos of Tomko saying why he did it. I would have revealed Tomko next week and have their match the week after that. That whole feud seemed to be rushed as three weeks of things happened in the matter of forty five minutes.

Overall: Good opener, but the show in terms of wresting went down as the show continued. Also, way too much of ?The Band?. This is starting to feel like WCW 1997, and that is not a good thing.
