BARCELONA, Spain -- Canadas Hilary Caldwell captured the bronze medal in the womens 200-metre backstroke at the swimming world championships Saturday. Caldwell, a native of White Rock, B.C., stepped onto the podium with a time of two minutes 6.80 seconds. American Missy Franklin won her fifth gold medal of the worlds in the event with a time of 2:04.76 ahead of Australias Belinda Hocking. Sinead Russell of Burlington, Ont., finished seventh.
