He reaches 100 points in 100 playoff games and leaves a lasting impression. Hes a consistent performer through the playoffs but as an asterisks; hes a minus six in the post-season. Which of the traditional western powerhouses is worst positioned for the future - Chicago, Detroit or San Jose? Ward: San Jose. Its a team on the decline that is aging and the window is closing. At this point, I smell a shakeup in the offseason for them. Dreger: I agree with Aaron Ward. The core of their team is under contract for next season and a few more years after that for some. Crawford: San Jose! Im tired of answering the question of why Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau arent performing at the level they need to. Which former Hartford Whaler would you most want behind the bench ... or between them - Kevin Dineen, Joel Quenneville, Dave Tippett or Ray Ferraro? Crawford: Coach Q, Joel Quenneville. Hes the coach with the best vision behind the bench and I just think he makes all the right moves. Dreger: Im going with Dave Tippett, a proud Saskatchewan boy - that should be enough to sell it right there. Hes a fiery competitor and finds a way to get his Coyotes team in the playoffs, even though the cards are seemingly against this organization. Hes a good coach and he finds a way. Ward: Ferraro!
