Today is my son birthday party. He turning four. It the first time my husband and I have hosted a party for him that extends beyond immediate family, since he now old enough to understand what going on. Over the past few years, he has been invited to many wonderful parties in our town, some large and some small, but all impressive in their own replica borse hermes ways, whether it an incredible food spread, fabulous loot bags, organized games, a beautiful setting, or detailed decorations.

The thought of trying to match those parties was stressing me out until the day I realized it doesn have to be like that. I am able to design and host my son birthday party according to giubbotti peuterey what works best for me and what I know my son will enjoy the most. After coming to this realization, planning for this north face uk birthday party has become an exciting event. Here what I scarpe prada uomo doing to reduce my stress level and enjoy the day:

I pared down the guest list. I told my son he could invite four friends because he turning four. (This replica borse hermes rule only works well when kids are small, but I take advantage of it while I can.) I giubbotti peuterey do feel bad for not reciprocating the countless party invitations that he has received, but I have to draw the line somewhere. He decided who to invite all on his own, with zero input from me.

I know my culinary limits. I am fully capable of cooking lunch for four guests + their parents + my own family, but I don want to spend precious time fiddling in the kitchen. So I ordered large pizzas for takeout and will serve them straight from the box scarpe prada uomo with veggies and fruit. abercrombie and fitch uk I will make homemade abercrombie and fitch uk cupcakes.

Trust kids instinct to play. There won be any games or crafts. After all, they are three and fouryearolds who probably just want to run circles around the dining room table and pull apart the north face uk toy box.

No presents allowed. My mom always used to put this on the invitations when I was a kid and it drove me crazy, but now I understand. It a pain to have to shop for a birthday party, not to mention pricey after shopping for a dozen parties, and if this party is all about keeping it stressfree, then I want to extend that to the other kids parents. My son won even notice the lack of gifts; he be too busy playing.

Ditch the candy. I purchased cute little Playmobil action figures to replace the usual loot bags. My hope is that a toy will cut back on sugar rushes while lasting a lot longer.
