Another WWE DUI arrest

World Wrestling Entertainment's Michael Brendli, 25, who worked as Mikey of the Spirit Squad and is currently on WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling's roster, was arrested on DUI charges late last night in Tampa.

Brendli was arrested after being pulled over on Adamo Drive East and Falkenburg Road South at 11:12 PM Sunday evening.

A Long Island, New York native who has also wrestled under the name Mike Mondo, Brendli was listed as having a blood alcohol level of 0.094. A second test listed him with a level of 0.091. Under Florida law, "Under Florida law, DUI is one offense, proved by impairment of normal faculties or unlawful blood alcohol or breath alcohol level of 0.08 or above."

According to a police report of the arrest, Brendli refused to list his employer. Since FCW replaced Ohio Valley Wrestling as the lone WWE developmental territory, Brendli has worked as "The Professional" Mike Mondo and the masked Mighty Mikey.

Brendli's arrest would be the third case of DUI charges being brought against WWE-contracted performer iin the Tampa area since WWE developmental was moved to Florida Championship Wrestling. Ted DiBiase Jr. and Santino Marella were also recently charged with DUI. In the case of DiBiase, it was following an accident where his car struck another vehicle.
