The World Wrestling Council's official Facebook page announced that Rex King (Timothy Well from Well & Dunn in the early 1990s for WWF, real name Timothy A. Smith) died earlier today. Currently, the cause of death has not been disclosed.
Smith was born in 1963 and wrestled as part of the teams of Well & Dunn, Southern Rockers and in WWC in Puerto Rico as part of the Glamour Boys team with Shane Sewell and Sean Morley.

King's run in Puerto Rico was a very popular one with him going back and forth between face and heel. He was very popular during the time that he spent in Puerto Rico.

During the 1990s, he and the late Steve Doll (who worked as Steven Dunn in WWF) teamed as the Southern Rockers in the Pacific Northwest and USWA. The team came to WWF as an low-level tag team from 1993-1995, mostly losing TV matches and working house show tag matches. Doll passed away in 2009 from complications of a blood clot.

Smith last wrestled in 2002 and retired after suffering an injury while working in Puerto Rico.

Our condolences to Smith's family and friends during this sad time.

Pet Peeve:
Can people stop putting "condolences" on these threads about wrestlers who die. Nobody who would actually appreciate these condolences are on the In Your Head message board.

There could be someone that strolls this board who knew the deceased. That has happened before. Anyway, there's no harm is mentioning it.

what's wrong with wanting people you don't know to find peace in death. it's not like we're making pototatoe salad for the wake
